What we collect

VIVA is a career ledger, so most of what we hold is what you put there on purpose. Specifically:

  • Your account email, used to sign you in and to reach you about your account.
  • The career ledger content you author — the entries, dates, statements, and metrics that make up your record.
  • Job description text you paste in, when you use VIVA to tailor a page or prep for a specific role.
  • Artifacts you attach to an entry (links, files, or other evidence you choose to cite as backing for a claim).
  • Questions a visitor asks on one of your public pages, so that you — the page’s owner — can see what was asked of your record.

We do not collect data about you from anywhere else. If it isn’t something you typed, pasted, or attached, we don’t have it.

AI processing

To generate a public page, answer a visitor’s question, or help you prepare for an interview, VIVA sends the relevant slice of your content to a model provider through a gateway we operate. That is how the generation happens — there is no way around a model seeing the text it is asked to work with. What we commit to is narrower: we do not train models on your data, ours or a provider’s, and the content sent is scoped to what a given task needs, not your entire ledger by default.

Consent architecture

An employer or panel does not see your record by default. They see it only after you grant access — a deliberate action you take, not a setting that defaults to open. Once granted, the reverse holds too: you can see exactly what was shared with that grant, and every question that was asked against your record while it was open. Revocation is immediate — the moment you revoke a grant, that door closes and stays closed.

No sale of personal data

We do not sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. We have no ad business, and building one is not the plan.

No scoring

We do not score, rank, or rate you against other candidates, and we do not build or sell a scoring product on top of your data. What a reader sees is your record and its provenance — traceable, self-reported, or attested — never a number.

Deletion

You can delete your account from within the product. Deleting your account cascades to your ledger entries, your generated pages, your artifacts, and your prep sessions — that content is gone, not archived.

One honest exception: if a panel member at an org authored notes about an interview with you, those notes are that org’s own record of its own hiring process. They belong to the org, not to your account, and they survive your account deletion. We tell you this plainly rather than implying a delete button erases something that was never yours to begin with.

The same honesty runs the other way. If your account is the one that authored interview records inside an organization — you were the panelist, not the candidate — you can’t self-serve delete it, because deleting it would take the org’s own records with it. Email amansh93@gmail.comand we’ll remove your account by hand while preserving the org’s records.

Cookies

VIVA uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics — it exists so the product knows it’s you, and for no other reason.
